Sunday morning church service

Sometimes it's a miracle that I make it to church on Sundays but once I'm there I always feel blessed by something. This morning I felt touched by a couple songs we sang and some verses the whole congregation read together.
I really felt like I was resting in the arms of the Lord.

It Is Well With My Soul

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Though Satan should buffet, though trials should come,
Let this blessed assurance control,
That Christ has regarded my helpless estate
,

And hath shed His own blood for my soul.

My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
My sin, not in part but the whole,
Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

And Lord, haste the day when my faith shall be sight,
The clouds be rolled back as a scroll;
The trump shall resound, and the Lord shall descend,
Even so, it is well with my soul.

It is well, with my soul,
It is well, with my soul,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.

Sanctuary

Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary
Pure and holy, tried and true
With thanksgiving, I'll be a living
Sanctuary for You

Psalm 139
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 Point out anything in me that offends you,
and lead me along the path of everlasting life.

We sang It is Well this morning also! I love when, in verse 3, he started his sentence: "My sin..." and then he got so excited that he interrupted himself: "Oh the bliss of this glorious thought..." and then started the statement over again: "My sin, not in part, but the whole, was nailed to the cross and I bear it no more! Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, oh, my soul!"
