Counting our blessing here in Yakima: >When we arrived in Yakima we stayed with one of the adult high school volunteers and her husband for our first night until we could get the keys to our apartment. >We had an elders wife offer to babysit the kids while we unloaded the moving truck. >There was a large box in the foyer of the church with our name on it and it was filled with pantry items as well as a few gifts cards. >We received an invitation from an elders family for lunch on our first Sunday here. >We went to dinner at another elders home. >One of the adult HS volunteers babysat for free one evening for us so we could have a date night. >A young lady in the church committed to babysit once a week so I can attend youth group and her and another young lady are staying the weekend free of charge with the boys in a few weeks so I can go on a youth trip. >An elder's wife is occasionally babysitting, praying for me and checking in regularly. >Another elder...
